A Guilford County woman was sentenced to forty-five days in jail and 200 hours of community service after she plead no contest to allowing an under-aged woman to drink at her house and then letting her drive home. She was charged with three counts of aiding and abetting a minor to consume alcohol.

The 20 year-old woman who was drinking at the house left with her three friends, ranging in age from 18-23, when she ran off the road and hit a tree. All three of her friends were killed.

Police say she reached speeds as high as 90mph when the accident occurred. Her blood alcohol level was 0.20, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08. She is currently serving a 7-12 year sentence.

"Jim, I just wanted to thank you again for everything you did for me. I am very happy about the outcome and would recommend you to anyone and everyone who has a DUI case. Two things that stuck out the most is your patience and honesty, you wanted the best for me and that was obvious."
