Raleigh man arrested for selling drugs with child in car

A 22-year-old Raleigh man was recently arrested by officers from the Wake County Sheriff’s Office when they discovered the man attempting to sell marijuana from his car with a  small child in the backseat.

According to reports, the man had 7 grams of marijuana that he was trying to sell to an undercover investigator when officers arrested him. The man was taken into custody and charged with the possession of and intent to sell marijuana, as well as misdemeanor child abuse for having a child in the car with him at the time of the incident.

The man is currently being held in jail with a bond set at $100,000.
