A 20 year-old Raleigh man has been arrested after authorities found 14 pounds of marijuana he grew in his home. Authorities have charged the man with possession with the intent to sell marijuana, trafficking marijuana, and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

According to court documents, the man had been arrested this January in Austin, Texas for marijuana possession. He was also accused of drug possession in Raleigh last year.

Cultivating marijuana is a felony and can be punishable with jail time and thousands of dollars in fines. If convicted, the man could spend 25 to 35 months in jail for cultivating marijuana.
