Knightdale man charged with drug trafficking

Posted on June 19th, 2012 No Comments

A 20 year-old Knightdale man was arrested again, this time for drug trafficking, while he was out on a $375,000 bond for a home invasion and felony assault charge. Authorities say he conspired to traffic 28 grams of cocaine.

Wake County police have charged the man with four felony counts of trafficking in cocaine and two felony counts of conspiring to traffic cocaine. He is back in the Wake County jail on $300,000 bond, the News Observer reports.

The accused is believed to have broken in to a town home in Knightdale earlier this year with the intent to rob and kill the owner. He was charged with assault with intent to kill, burglary, and conspiracy.
