Greensboro coach charged with cocaine distribution

Posted on February 16th, 2012 No Comments

Last Friday an assistant football coach at Northern Guilford High School was arrested on two charges of trafficking cocaine and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for drugs.

The 41 year-old man is out on bond from the Guilford County jail. Police say he has no prior convictions.

According to school officials, the man was only an assistant coach on the football team and not a member of the faculty and did not teach any classes. They are not aware of any illegal activity taking place at school. He has worked with the school district on and off since 1989 and consistently since 2002.
