What is blood testing?

Blood testing is the act of taking a blood sample from an individual that is thought to be intoxicated or otherwise impaired. Anyone suspected of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol may be subjected to this kind of test. Although they are considered the most reliable of the blood alcohol content (BAC) tests, there are still many errors that can be made during this exam. Thus, the information retrieved from this type of testing should not necessarily be the primary basis for a conviction.
