DMX arrested for driving under the influence

Posted on August 10th, 2013 No Comments

The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that rapper DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was charged with driving under the influence in Greenville on July 30.

DMX’s publicist Domenick Nati confirmed the arrest in a statement released last Friday, July 27 but denied that DMX was charged with anything, saying DMX was arrested but was quickly released by the police as he passed the breathalyzer test he was subjected to and was only pulled over by the police for not wearing his seat belt.

DMX was also charged with driving without his driver’s license at the time of his arrest.
