Burlington, NC woman charged with DWI twice in one day

Posted on June 14th, 2011 No Comments

A woman from Burlington was charged with driving while intoxicated twice on Friday. The woman was also found to have been convicted of DUIs twice in Florida within the last seven years.

The woman was first pulled over by police officers in Burlington at around 3:30 p.m. She was administered a breath test, where she blew a 0.32, four times the legal limit. Officers released the woman to her sister because she agreed to take full custody of her. Later that night, at 9:00 p.m., the woman was again pulled over in Mebane and given a breath test. She blew a 0.30 and was again taken into custody.

The woman was held by Mebane police on a charge of DWI. The woman may be facing a felony DWI charge if she is convicted of both DWI charges.

If you or someone you love has been charged with a fourth DWI in seven years, please contact the Raleigh felony DWI lawyer of the Law Office of Jim Black at 919-600-4609.

"Jim, I just wanted to thank you again for everything you did for me. I am very happy about the outcome and would recommend you to anyone and everyone who has a DUI case. Two things that stuck out the most is your patience and honesty, you wanted the best for me and that was obvious."
