20-Year-Old Driver Charged with DWI

A twenty-year-old man in Greensboro was recently issued a DWI charge after he was caught erratically driving a moped after drinking alcohol.

Police received a phone call by a concerned citizen about the young man’s reckless driving in the afternoon. The  young man was reportedly running stop signs and speeding. Once police caught up to him, he did not stop and ended up turning off the road into a ditch, with the police car right behind him. The 20-year-old suffered a broken leg in the accident.

In addition to being charged with a DWI, the young man was also charged with drinking under the age of 21 and reckless driving.
