2 men arrested for drug trafficking

Posted on August 12th, 2011 No Comments

Two New Jersey men were arrested last week in North Carolina after police found drugs in their car following a routine traffic stop. The men were stopped after they were seen speeding on I-40 near Highway 132. Law enforcement found 700 bags of heroin, worth about $21,000, and  a pound of marijuana in their car. Police say two major sources of drugs coming into North Carolina are from New Jersey and Philadelphia.

The men are held on $500,000 bond each. They are charged with heroin trafficking, felony possession of marijuana, the intent to sell and deliver heroin, maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for drugs, and other charges not released.

"Jim, I just wanted to thank you again for everything you did for me. I am very happy about the outcome and would recommend you to anyone and everyone who has a DUI case. Two things that stuck out the most is your patience and honesty, you wanted the best for me and that was obvious."
